Amy Mendheim Swindall, Associate
A native of Dothan, Alabama, Amy Mendheim Swindall received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Auburn University in 1998 and her law degree from the University of Alabama in 2001. She is a member of the Alabama State Bar and is admitted to practice in all Alabama courts. Mrs. Swindall practices primarily in the areas of insurance and corporate defense with years of experience in cases involving workers’ compensation, personal injury, wrongful death, and medical malpractice.
While in law school, Mrs. Swindall clerked for the Office of General Counsel at NASA, in Cape Canaveral, Florida. She returned to Dothan following law school and became an Assistant District Attorney for the 38th Judicial Circuit of Houston and Henry Counties. While an Assistant DA, Mrs. Swindall prosecuted cases ranging from traffic tickets to murder. She has extensive jury experience from her years as a prosecutor.
In 2007, Mrs. Swindall joined Shealy, Crum and Pike as an associate dedicating her practice to medical malpractice and insurance defense for clients throughout the state of Alabama.
