Kelly W. Harmon, Associate
Kelly W. Harmon received his Bachelor of Science degree from Samford University in 1991 and his law degree from Birmingham School of Law in 2007. He is a member of the Alabama State Bar and is admitted to practice in all Alabama state courts. Mr. Harmon practices primarily in the areas of insurance and corporate defense with experience in cases involving workers’ compensation, medical malpractice, contract disputes and products liability.
Mr. Harmon worked full time throughout both undergraduate and law school. He began his career as an insurance adjuster in 1991, focusing primarily on workers’ compensation. In 2001, Mr. Harmon moved into corporate management of safety, occupational health and workers’ compensation. During that time, he earned his law degree and transitioned into corporate practice as an in-house attorney for a large, international corporation.
Mr. Harmon joined the firm in 2011 and has been involved in multiple workers’ compensation, medical malpractice and products liability trials. He has also handled numerous appeals in the Alabama Supreme Court.
Mr. Harmon’s vast claims experience and his years working as corporate counsel provide him a unique and valuable understanding of insurance claims and all varieties of corporate functions to assist in the representation of our clients.
